![]() ![]() Remember all Anastasia Beverly Hills products are highly pigmented, so little pressure is required. Begin by exposing only a small amount of product (about 2–3 millimeters) this allows for maximum control of the pencil and prevents overextension when applying the product. As always, all opinions and thoughts are my own. I do make a small commission if you purchase something from my links, but in no way shape or form does this increases the price of the product(s) in which you are paying for. Like this post? Make sure you save it to your Pinterest! ![]() I will definitely re-purchase this product again that’s for sure! So I definitely give this product a 9.5/10! It applied almost as easy as the brow wiz did, it lasted all day long, and it didn’t s mudge as much as the brow wiz did when I applied the finger smudge test. I pay $23 dollars for the ABH Brow Wiz and knowing that I can pay way less than that (NYX cost $10) for pretty much the same product, is such a WIN in my books! ![]() I have to say I am pretty darn impress with this brow pencil and I’m definitely a fan! It’s such a great more affordable option. So as far as my final opinion on this “brow wiz dupe”…. I lastly did a smudge test (1 swipe across each eyebrow, using a different finger on each) and here what came off from each brow… pretty impressed!Ĭlearly the NYX didn’t have as much smudge come off as the brow wiz did, which is awesome! However, NYX has a very good clear brow gel called Control Freak, that I use as well and I swear buy! Definitely comparable to the ABH clear brow gel!Īfter wearing my brows the entire day, I noticed that the NYX Micro brow lasted as long as my ABH brow wiz. Not saying that the NYX product didn’t, but it was just a tad easier.Īfter applying both pencils on each side, I did apply brow gel from ABH, which is something I always use. I feel like the pigment applies so easily. Now after finishing up my left brow with the NYX brown pencil I went in with the ABH Brow Wiz and immediately noticed that it was like butter when applying. I was actually impressed! I would say the only thing that was throwing me off was just the color of the pencil, especially because I’m so use to using dark brown. When applying the NYX Micro brow pencil, my first impression was that it does glide onto the skin very nicely and it was easy to apply, just like the brow wiz. I would say the spoolies on the NYX Micro brow pencil is a tad thicker then the brow wiz, but as far as the pencil itself… they were both the same. When comparing both products right off the bat they look very very similar, especially the looks of the pencil. I will have to say espresso is more of a dark brown and the brunette is also a brown but more of a red undertone to it. When purchasing the NYX pencil, they were unfortunately sold out of espresso which I think would of been a better fit for me, but the only thing close to it was brunette. So of course I had to give it a shot and put it to the test. Then comes the NYX Micro Brow Pencil, which people are saying is a total dupe to the ABH Brow Wiz. I have even tried the brands’ other eyebrow products too, but still nothing compared. I have tried many other eyebrow products/pencils before, but nothing compared to ABH Brow Wiz for me. When it comes to my eyebrows, I am a die hard fan of Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz (ABH), and I have been for years and years now! ![]()
